In a bold effort to tackle the persistent threat of insecurity in northern Nigeria, troops of the Nigerian Army clashed with Lakurawa terrorists in Gudu Local Government Area, Sokoto State.

The operation, led by the Defence Headquarters Special Operations Brigade under Operation Fansan Yamma, was a well-coordinated offensive aimed at neutralizing the terrorist group.
