It seems the Catholic Church in Nigeria is under a coordinated attack as the church have been witnessing many attacks in the last few weeks.



The church haven't recovered from the news of the murder of our Rev. Fr. Vitus Borogo, of Kaduna Archdiocese, when the news broke out again that my another Priest, Rev. Fr. Christopher Ọdia has been kidnapped.

Reports have it that Fr. Christopher had gone to his garage yesterday morning, June 26 2022, to drive to his Church compound for Mass, only to fall into the hands of waiting kidnappers.

The communications Director of the Catholic Diocese of Auchi, Rev. Fr. Peter Egielewa, confirmed this in a press release which stated: "Information reaching us is that Fr. Christopher Odia has been kidnapped this Sunday morning 26th June 2022...Lets pray for his quick release"

specifically targeted by bandits, kidnappers and Terrorists.

However, report have it that the Priest has been killed by his abductor.

It will be recalled that one parish of the church was attacked early this month in Owo, Ondo state where 45 faithfuls got killed.
