Following the recent ugly xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and some other African indigines staying in South Africa by the south Africans, the attention of some concerned Nigerians were drawn to the incident which prompted to immediate action towards finding a solution.
One person stood out in the quest to rescue the Nigerian citizens being trapped in south Africa and also victims of the attack. That man is Mr Allen Onyeama. He is the owner of air peace airline.
He volunteered his airline to go for the rescue of Nigerians still in south Africa and fly them back to Nigeria free of charge which was highly commended by so many Nigerians. The first batch of Nigerians have already landed in the country though they experienced some resistance from the south African government. The first batch brought back 187 willing Nigerians while the current second batch will also fly 319 willing Nigerians. They are meant to land at Murtala Mohammed international airport Lagos.
The Consul General Nigeria high commission in south Africa, Godwin Adama, has disclosed that the number of registered Nigerians has risen to 1,004. He also stated that the technical issue being experienced at the first evacuation has been addressed.
After his recent public appearance, Nnamdi Kanu will address the global Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB family live on Sunday 21th October at 6pm.
Meanwhile, on Radio Biafra, IPOB leadership have thanked the Jewish State of Israel and Prime minister Netanyahu for hosting Nnamdi Kanu and facilitating his safety, trip and hospitality and said that he is a Jewish brother they can trust and followed through.

Speaking at the Ripples Nigeria Dialogue in Lagos, Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka has urged the President to stop treating herdsmen with soft hands but rather declare them terrorists, since he had the effrontery to declare the peaceful protesters of IPOB terrorists.
He said, “We expect the president to have the courage to declare such monsters as terrorists and enemies of humanity with the same dispatch in which he declared the far less violent, albeit, disruptive IPOB terrorists. We expect a culture of even-handedness”, he said.
“I have always refrained from labelling the herdsmen as Fulani but since they have publicly come out to admit they are responsible for the killings, we can say they are Fulani herdsmen.
“An organisation has been rampaging the nation armed to the teeth and descending on innocent people. Their spokesman appeared on TV, unrepentant, distorting history, calling on a state government to rescind their laws and proceeding to defy such laws.
“They went ahead and threatened continuation of the same acts of degradation. The nation has been placed on the defensive simply because of the failing of governance.
