The Nigerian police force, Rivers state command has announced the killing of the notorious kidnapper from Eganmi rundele in Emohua LGA, by name Ekweme Brown Ike aka Lucifer. The culprit has been a thorn in the flesh of some indigenes of the state through his kidnapping activities and demanding huge amount of money as ransom. Ekweme died in a gun battle with the men of the STING squad in a STING operation led by commander, ACP Shem Evans.

The entire Rundele community have been thrown into wild jubilation as a result of his death. The police is working assiduously to arrest his other gang members.
