A devastating road accident along the Damaturu-Maiduguri highway has left four people feared dead and seven others injured.

The crash occurred in the early hours of Saturday, involving an 18-seater Borno Express bus traveling from Abuja to Maiduguri.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene, evacuating the victims to the State Specialist Hospital in Damaturu.

This tragic incident comes just days after a fatal accident on the same highway. Last Tuesday, a cement truck carrying passengers lost control and tumbled into a ditch, killing ten people.

Authorities urge motorists to exercise caution, as the rising number of accidents on this route remains a major concern.
