The prospective future club for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has been revealed.

According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is now the closest team to signing Rudiger from Chelsea.

On Saturday morning, Romano revealed this in a message via his Twitter handle.

"Toni Rüdiger has yet to sign with any club," he tweeted. After months of negotiations, Real Madrid is now the most likely to reach an agreement. Since December, Real Madrid has been on it.
“PSG, interested. Man United and Bayern are out of the race... Chelsea’s situation still has not changed.

Rudiger’s current contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.

Chelsea’s talks over an extension for Rudiger have been hampered by the sanctions placed on him by the UK government.
