Barcelona winger Raphinha has named Manchester United midfielder Casemiro as the player he wishes to play with at Camp Nou.

Raphinha, who described Casemiro as a great leader, spoke ahead of Barcelona’s UEFA Europa League play-off tie against Manchester United on Thursday evening.

Raphinha and Casemiro are both international teammates on the Brazil national team.

“Man, Casemiro is a player that I always talk about to my friends and family,” Raphinha told ESPN Brazil.

“He is a player that I would particularly like to have on my team.”

He added: “In addition to the experience he has in football and all the things he has achieved in football, he is a great leader, he is a great person, and he manages to complete a team with the quality he has."

“For me, he is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.”
