Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea, says he was very convinced Brighton would miss in the penalty shootout during Sunday’s FA Cup semifinal game.

De Gea told MUTV that he believed they won the game when he saw Victor Lindeloph taking the ball.
“To be honest, I was very convinced, as soon as they missed the penalty. I saw Victor taking the ball, I said we’ve won, we won,’ because he has ice in his veins. He’s so quality with the ball. He did it, he did it!”, he said.
Recall that United booked their place in the FA Cup final after a penalty drama against Brighton in which it won 7-6.
De Gea did not make any saves in the penalties.
The semifinal match could not be settled in 90 minutes with both clubs enjoying purple patches with the ball.
United will be back at Wembley in June to take on Manchester City in the finals.
