Zaidu Sanusi has hailed FC Porto’s' important victory 'against Bayer Leverkusen in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash.
The Dragons recorded their first win in Group D, edging out the Bundesliga club 2-0 at the Estadio Do Dragao.
Substitute Sanusi put Sergio Conceicao’s side ahead in the 69th minute, six minutes after replacing Brazil defender Wendell.
Gelano added the second goal three minutes from time.
“This victory is very important for us and for our path,” the Nigeria international said after the game.
Porto occupy the second position in the group with three points from three games.
