Nigerian forward Victor Boniface has committed his future to Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen by signing a new one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2029.
At just 24 years old, Boniface has become one of the highest earners at Leverkusen, thanks to his remarkable performances since joining the club in 2023 from Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gilloise.
Despite his contract renewal, Leverkusen has not ruled out the possibility of selling the talented striker. The Bundesliga champions are reportedly open to offers but have set a minimum asking price of €50 million for interested suitors.
Boniface's stellar debut season saw him lift both the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal, cementing his reputation as one of the league’s brightest talents. His exploits have attracted attention from clubs worldwide, including teams from Saudi Arabia, who are closely monitoring his situation.
With his future at Leverkusen now secure, Boniface remains a hot prospect in the transfer market, and fans will be eager to see what the Nigerian star achieves next under Xabi Alonso's guidance.
