The four leading contenders for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, according to Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, are Brazil, Argentina, France, and Spain.
Additionally, Benzema affirmed that he is healthy and prepared to play for France at the 2018 World Cup.
On November 20, the hosts Qatar will play Ecuador, and on November 21, England will play Iran in the opening match of the 2022 World Cup.
Prior to joining the France team the following week, Benzema told Téléfoot on Sunday that he was "fit and present."
The France international added, "Vini Jr. and Rodrygo, is Brazil the big favorite?" when asked who he believed to be the favorites for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Yes, they are favorites, as Argentina can be, as Spain can be, and as France, of course.
France will play Australia in their opening match of the tournament on Tuesday, November 22.
They will also face Denmark on November 26 and Tunisia on November 30.
