Power outage has hit some parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
Abuja Electricity Distribution Company confirmed the blackout in a statement on Thursday.
The company blamed rainy weather conditions, which affected its Current Transformer at Apo Transmission Station.
“Under rainy weather conditions, H2 from AT3 tripped due to a shattered Current Transformer at Apo Transmission Station. We reached out to the Transmission Company of Nigeria maintenance team and were following up. We have continued to follow up. They assured this morning that the TCN team will replace the bad CT today, 28/09/2023.
“We had to back feed G4 Injection Sub/Station on 33kV feeder H11 through Cable link to reduce the impact on our customers.
