Left out England National and Arsenal player Jack Wilshere has revealed that he believed he would have made a real impact in the England squad going to Russia for the World Cup, which will start by June.
Wilshere was left heart broken after been left out of the England world cup squad on Thursday.
The 26-year-old had earlier said he should be on the plane to Russia as he has felt "fit, sharp and strong all season" but to his surprise England manager Gareth Southgate left him out of the squad by presenting the youngest England squad to feature in world cup.
Wilshere expressed his disappointment on Thursday night, although he's not the only England super star left behind, former Manchester city goal keeper, Joe Hart was also excluded. The Arsenal midfielder, who has had an injury-plagued career, made 38 appearances for Arsenal in the 2017-18 season, including 12 Premier League starts. He won the last of his 34 England caps in the Euro 2016 defeat by Iceland.
