Callum Hudson-Odoi, a Chelsea forward, is considering playing for Ghana after the country qualified for the 2022 World Cup.
Following a 1-1 draw in Nigeria on Tuesday, the Black Stars qualified on the basis of the away goal rule.
Despite obtaining three caps for England, Hudson-Odoi is still eligible to play for Ghana.
His most recent appearance for the Three Lions was in 2019, so it will be three years till the World Cup.
Hudson-Odoi is seriously considering altering his international allegiance, according to the UK Evening Standard.
Due to the abundance of attacking talent available to England coach Gareth Southgate, Hudson-Odoi believes he will not receive many opportunities with the national team in the future.
