Armando Broja, a recent graduate of the Chelsea academy, was told he has a "big future" after scoring his first goal for the team in a routine Premier League victory over Wolves.

After spending more than ten years in the club's academy, Broja joined Stamford Bridge in 2009 and made his first team debut in 2020.

Although he played for Vitesse the year before and spent last season on loan at Southampton, the Albanian international has played sparingly since making his Chelsea debut under Frank Lampard.

Broja appears to be playing a bigger role at Chelsea this year, as evidenced by the fact that on Saturday, in a convincing 3-0 victory over struggling Wolves, he scored his first goal for the team.

Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz each scored a goal just before halftime, and Broja, who was brought on as a substitute in the second half, added an insurance goal to cap off an impressive performance.

These Chelsea fans adore Armando Broja because he comes on and puts in so much effort, according to former Chelsea and Scotland winger Pat Nevin, who said this on BBC Radio 5 Live: "That is an important goal for him." He is selfless but is also a target man.

A lot of people have been talking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but do not write off Broja. I think he has got a big future.’
