The Polish Football Association has officially named Fernando Santos as their new head coach of the national team.

Santos previously managed Cristiano Ronaldo.

Santos was introduced at a press conference on Tuesday. He had resigned as Portugal's coach following that nation's shocking 2022 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal loss to Morocco.

Remember that the 68-year-old was Ronaldo's coach when he led Portugal's national team.

Speaking after his unveiling, Santos said: “It is an honor for us because we are talking about a great country."
“Poland is a great country with an extremely rich history and culture.”
