Popular Nigerian singer Teni, whose real name is Teniola Apata, has shared a heartfelt message about her recent health struggles, emphasizing that wealth cannot guarantee good health.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Teni posted a video of herself receiving medical attention on a hospital bed. She revealed that she was diagnosed with malaria after experiencing extreme weakness and loss of appetite for two weeks.
In her post, the "Billionaire" crooner called on Oba Elegushi to address the mosquito infestation in the Ikate area of Lagos, writing:
"Malaria held me down. I went through a lot. I was weak and down for two weeks. I couldn’t eat, so I lost weight. Amid the illness, I still had to perform in Ondo because, at the end of the day, who will feed me? I can’t make a refund."
She captioned the post with a powerful statement: “Money Cannot Buy You Health O Na God!”
Teni’s revelation has sparked reactions from fans, with many sending well wishes and agreeing that good health is indeed priceless.
