"I’m Not Pretending, I’m Really Sick" – Halima Abubakar
Expressing her pain, Halima said:
"People are confused about my situation. I’m not feeling fine, but I try to stay strong. What you see on social media is filtered; this is the real me. Some claim I’m lying about my illness—why would anyone fake being sick? I have been receiving treatment at a Turkish hospital in Nigeria, but my condition persists. I don’t understand why people doubt my struggles."
The actress further revealed that despite being away from the industry for over six years, she continues to face harsh criticism and abandonment from those she once trusted.
"You sacked me from Nollywood, yet I’m still facing betrayal. My own best friend says I’m lying, yet she hasn’t checked on me once. Do you want me to die? Can’t you all see how I look? I have undergone multiple MRIs, and my BP is at 157. I still have more medical tests to do, but I need financial help."
