Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), wants to thank President Bola Tinubu for stepping in to help Nollywood actor Zack Orji with his health issues during his recent trip to the UK for post-surgery assessment.
In a statement released on Saturday, Rollas expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his caring attitude toward the creative industry. He also praised First Lady Sen. Oluremi Tinubu for her motherly concern and Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, for his strong support.
Rollas also gave credit to Minister for Women Affairs Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye for her efforts in ensuring Orji’s speedy recovery.
According to Rollas, Orji is thankful to his longtime friend Ahmed Bala for being there for him throughout this challenging time.
“We've seen President Tinubu's exceptional support for the creative industry,” Rollas said. “It's clear he's committed to uplifting the sector for the benefit of both practitioners and the national economy, and we're grateful for that.
“We also want to acknowledge Minister Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye for her relentless efforts in helping Zack Orji get back on his feet.
“Zack Orji is also deeply grateful to his longtime friend Ahmed Bala for sticking with him through it all.”
