Salome Adaidu, a vibrant young woman with a promising future, has been laid to rest amid an outpouring of grief and heartbreak.

The prime suspect, Timileyin Ajayi, a gospel singer and self-proclaimed motivational speaker, was arrested in Nasarawa State after being found with Salome’s severed head concealed in a polythene bag. Ajayi, who was also active on TikTok as a motivational speaker, was apprehended in the Agwan Sarki area of Orozo, a quiet suburb near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). His arrest followed a tip-off to law enforcement authorities, leading them to an uncompleted building where the chilling discovery was made.

During police interrogation, Ajayi confessed to the horrific act, detailing how he had been in a relationship with Salome for over a year before committing the brutal murder.
