The Nigeria Police Force has effectively apprehended two suspects linked to an alleged assassination plot.



Among those arrested is a Chairman from one of the Local Government Areas in Benue State.


Preliminary investigations have uncovered shocking details, suggesting that the Local Government Chairman had purportedly contracted a militia with the sinister intent of eliminating Hon. Aondona Hycenth Dajoh, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly. Swiftly responding to credible intelligence regarding the planned assassination, the operatives of the Force Intelligence Department – Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) sprung into action.
