On Monday, a young graduate named Musa who had recently embraced farming after completing his mandatory one-year national service, lost his life in a violent clash over a land dispute.
The conflict occurred at the Keana-Benue border area of Nasarawa State.
The dispute, which erupted between Alago and Tiv farmers, not only claimed Musa's life but also left several others from both communities critically injured. Those who were injured are now receiving medical treatment and are fighting for survival in the hospital.
However, to contain the issue, security operatives have been deployed to the area to restore order and ensure the safety of the residents.
