In a somber update, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, has disclosed the unfortunate demise of a woman who was struck by a 22-year-old driver.

Taking to his social media platform today, March 24, Hundeyin shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that the woman and her three children were vending groundnuts by the roadside when tragedy struck. The driver, reportedly losing control of his Mercedes Benz car, collided with the mother and her children.

In his post, Hundeyin wrote, "A mother and her three children were selling groundnuts by the roadside. A 22-year-old driver lost control of his Mercedes Benz car and ran into mother and children. While the children are responding to treatment, the mother sadly passed on. Think safety."
