As the EPL season is rounding off tomorrow, Manchester City's Phil Foden has been named the 2023/2024 Premier League Player of the Season.
The 23-year-old who won the Young Player of the Season Award in 2022 has scored 17 goals and contributed 8 assists in 34 matches this season.
The England forward makes it 5 in a row for Manchester City winning the Player of the Season awards after Kevin de Bruyne (2019/20, 2021/22), Ruben Dias (2020/21), and Erling Haaland (2022/2023).
The elated Foden has taken to media to express his joy:
What a week! So honoured to receive these prestigious awards! Thank you to everyone who voted for me, to the City staff and coaches, my family and of course, my teammates. I’m delighted with the way I’ve played so far this season and it wouldn’t have been possible without those around me
