Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will take on Zambia in two friendly matches ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.



The two friendly matches will take place in Abuja.

The two matches will take place on Friday, 27th January and Monday, 30th January 2023, respectively.

Both countries will compete at the 2023 U-20 AFCON.

The Flying Eagles will face hosts Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal in Group A.

Zambia is drawn in Group B with Tunisia, the Benin Republic, and Gambia.

Egypt will host the competition from 19th February to 11th March.

All four semifinalists in Egypt will qualify to represent Africa at the 23rd FIFA U-20 World Cup finals, slated for Indonesia from May 20 to June 11, this year.
